The IO modules are compatible with any BACnet DDC system and all of the Tridium Niagara products. When stacked against the existing offerings of Niagara N-RIO, Lon-IO and others, these IO modules are front and center. When factored on a cost per IO basis, these IO devices are in line with the industry as a whole, however the unique offering of small low density IO positions them very well for cost effective project deployment (i.e., buy only what you need for the application). The IO modules are loaded with features such as standard BACnet mstp for use in any DDC solution, Inputs and Outputs can be configured by setting standard BACnet properties on the device (no special tools needed). H-O-A switches available on certain models, baud rate and MAC address DIP switch adjustable, BACnet device ID automatically set or can be set via a standard BACnet property, fail safe defaults easily configurable by writing to the default or fall back properties.
