Inside Sales Representative

Control Consultants, Inc. (CCI) has an opening for a confident, self motivated Inside Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will:

  • Grow CCI’s business with existing customers,
  • Increase our customer base by cultivating relationships with prospective new customers,
  • Deliver exceptional, proactive, friendly customer service,
  • Be a product champion on the most popular products CCI sells, and
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Excellent verbal communications skills.
  • Confidence to call on high level decision makers.
  • Strong closing skills.
  • Ability to identify prospective customers and develop loyal customer relationships via telephone.
  • The skills to build your own client base through networking, internet research, prospecting, probing, lead generation, cold calling and closing.
  • Self-motivation and be driven to work for commissions.
  • Drive, persistence and the ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Comfort using Word, Excel, Outlook, IM and a willingness to learn new software applications.
  • 2+ years experience in a commission-driven inside sales position.
  • Knowledge of HVACR industry, products and solutions preferred.
  • College degree preferred.

Counter Sales Representative

Job Summary
Provide exceptional phone and face to face customer service and sales assistance. Candidates must have 1-5 years general HVAC experience and or 2+ years of temperature controls sales experience.

Job Duties
• Counter service and sales. 
• Answer questions and take sales orders in-person and over the phone.
• Assist HVAC/R and Controls trade customers obtain the parts and equipment they need.
• Educate customers on product attributes, features and benefits of new products
• Overcome objections and close sales.
• Be respectful and helpful to customers. 
• Check orders and verify shipments. 
• Keep area stocked and orderly.
• Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to warehouse manager.
• Supply service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms.
• Other tasks as needed.

Requirements
• 1-5 years general HVAC experience. 
• 3+ years of temperature controls sales experience.
• Counter sales, cashier and cash operations experience.
• Outstanding mechanical aptitude.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and conduct internet searches.
• Initiative to take on new responsibilities and learn new things.
• Work well in a team environment and be able to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Multi-task as needed
• Be able to lift 50 pounds
