$258.00
The BAS Router provides stand-alone routing between BACnet networks such as BACnet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, and BACnet MS/TP — thereby allowing the system integrator to mix BACnet network technologies within a single BACnet internetwork. There are two physical communication ports on the BAS Router. One is a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and the other an isolated MS/TP port. Configuration is accomplished via a web page.
The BAS Router is housed in a metal case that mounts on 35-mm DIN-rail and is powered from a 24 VAC/VDC (± 10%) source. There is one MS/TP port and one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. |
The MS/TP port offers an optically-isolated transceiver. It has a removable 3-pin terminal block for the EIA-485 connection. Logically, 255 devices can be addressed. Physically, the number of devices depends upon device loading.
Up to 31 full-load EIA-485 devices can share the same MS/TP bus segment as the BAS Router. For half-load devices, there can be 62. All MS/TP standard baud rates are supported — from 9.6 to 76.8 kbps.
The Ethernet port offers a shielded RJ-45 connector. Through auto-negotiation and Auto-MDIX, it automatically matches connections to the attached equipment. Therefore, either straight-through or crossover CAT5 cable can be used for hook-up.
A resident web server allows for commissioning, and troubleshooting via a standard web browser. A reset switch is provided on the router to return the unit to the factory default IP address. Three LEDs are provided: The power LED glows green when proper power is provided. A bi-colour Ethernet LED glows green for 100 Mbps operation and yellow for 10 Mbps and indicates activity by flashing. A green LED flashes with MS/TP activity.
Internal MS/TP bias and termination jumpers allow flexible bias and termination options. They can be removed for mid-span installations.

$345.00
The BAS Remote series provide the system integrator a flexible building block when integrating diverse building automation protocols or when expanding the number of points in a building automation system. By supporting open system protocols such as BACnet®, Modbus and Sedona Framework SOX, the BAS Remote series is easily adaptable. For small systems, it can operate stand-alone. For larger systems, it can communicate to supervisory controllers over Ethernet. Depending upon the model, the BAS Remote has the flexibility to provide many options. |
The BAS Remote Master provides the ultimate in flexibility. It can be used for expansion I/O at remote locations where an Ethernet connection exists. Its built-in router and gateway capabilities address unique integration needs where more than one communications protocol is involved. It can operate as a function block programmable controller with its resident Sedona Framework Virtual Machine. Powered by a Linux engine, the BAS Remote Master can operate as BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP remote I/O, Sedona Framework controller, Modbus Serial to Modbus TCP router, Modbus Serial to BACnet gateway, and Modbus master to attached Modbus slaves all at the same time. A 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port allows connection to IP networks and popular building automation protocols such as Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, and Sedona SOX. Six universal I/O points and two relay outputs can be configured through resident web pages using a standard web browser and without the need of a special programming tool. A 2-wire Modbus serial port can greatly expand the I/O count with built-in routing to Modbus TCP clients. If BACnet mapping is preferred, the unit incorporates a Modbus serial to BACnet/IP gateway. The BAS Remote Master also allows you to install custom web pages so you can view the status of your system in a convenient manner. And using its onboard Web Services, your IT department can easily interact with the BAS Remote Master.
Additional universal I/O can be achieved with the simple addition of BAS Remote Expansion modules. The BAS Remote PoE has the same capabilities as the BAS Remote Master except it is powered over the Ethernet connection thereby providing a "One Cable Solution".

$92.00
Five-port 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX switching hub, DIN-rail mount. For control panels where DIN-rail space is at a premium, the Skorpion series of plug-and-play (unmanaged) Ethernet switches with widths as little as one inch (26 mm) is the answer. Housed in a rugged metal enclosure with a metal DIN-rail clip, the Skorpion series includes models 5, 8, and 16 ports. Some models provide one or two ports or either single-mode or multimode fibre optics with either SC or ST connectors. No configuration is necessary. All copper ports will automatically configure their data rate and duplex using the Auto-negotiation protocol. Depending on the capability of the link partner, communication is established at either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps and at either half- or full-duplex. Each port will adapt to either a straight-through or crossover cable by using the Auto-MDIX protocol. Fibre ports are fixed at 100 Mbps full-duplex for the highest performance.
|
Mulimode cable lengths cannot exceed 2 km and single-mode lenths cannot exceed 15 km without a special order. Fibre optics is ideal for inter-building cabling in a campus environment. The half-wave rectified low-voltage power supply allows for the sharing of power with other 24 VAC/VDC control devices. LED indicators of data rate and activity assist in troubleshooting. For control panels of nominal depth, the Skorpion series offers the widest range of Ethernet connectivity solutions.
All EISK models meet regulatory approvals including UL 508 Listed, C-UL Listed, CSA 22.2 No. 14-M91, CE Mark and RoHS compliance.
